Right now it def has to be paying off our debts and saving money! Things have been really tight lately!

being apart for 4 days

I had to go into NJ last week for work and stayed over for 4 days. I think it was harder on him than me b/c I was working and staying w/ ppl, and he was just home alone.

That and saving for a house.

Getting bills paid / splitting money!

It really is hard to share something like that, when you haven't done it in the past.

DH owns his own business and it has been stressful trying to balance work and married life for him. Also, with the economy now we have the added stress of wondering if people are going to spend their money on fishing this year!

definetly saving...it seems impossible these days and is super frustrating..although i will say we are fortunate enough that we never fight over money - but it's just a stress that frustrates the two of us.

We {knocks wood} havent had any huge challenges, granted it's only been 4 months. But I would say nailing down a budget to stick to and amp up our savings. It just seems that there is always something...a weddiing, shower, we have been going away a lot and the money is just going out. We want to sit down and make a detail plan on saving more $$. We have been saving, but we want to save more

Getting DH to make our lunches at least once a week

That and making our savings increase more than it has. We spend too much

him making dinner at least 1 a week while i am in school late for some reason that pisses me off

nah but really the only challenge we face and it is more him personally is that he doesn't have a job yet and he has been back since the middle of Jan. I know he deserved his time off after all he had done but we can both see it that he wants to get out and finally work. he is in the reserves still so he works sometimes but not like a 'real' job.

Plus he went from wroking 7 days a week for hours on end to NOTHING so he is getting bored and a little depressed. And it challenges me to help him not feel that way and make him feel he is worth something.

money, luckily we 90% of the time are on the same page, but sometime he preaches we need to save more, but then and goes and spends money on silly things

Debt from wedding/honeymoon has been somewhat of a challenge. But also , the responsibilities of our house too.

Our huge challenge has been money related, essentially my apt. not selling yet. He feels like it's holding us back from TTC, deciding on our ultimate living situation (add on to his house or buy a new house when the time comes). Needless to say it frustrated us both.
