I need to update my jeans. The ones that I have are old. They still look good, but I need like 2 new pairs.

I also need a good handbag for the winter. I'm using the bag that I used all summer.

Other than that, I would like to have my bills paid.

I really, really want a good concealer. One that will hide the purple underneath my eyes (it's just my pigmentation, nothing covers it). Anyone have any suggestions??? I've tried a LOT of them and they all look too cakey when the amount needed is applied.

I think if you use green it counteracts it- I think prescriptives sells something that will cover it

Hmmm .... I really just want a house so that I use all my registry gifts. But that ain't happening until next fall... so...

Tall brown boots - might go to DSW and pick out a pair, and then give my mom an exact name and style number ...

Uggs (don't have a pair and I think I might want them ... not sure though, and DH hates them)

A gc for a massage or a few ...

New perfume (no idea what yet, something GREAT)

New pocketbook (nothing expensive, just something that WORKS - I bought one recently that had lots of pockets, sections and I thought it'd be good but I can never find anything)

Some casual sweaters that I can wear with jeans and sneakers for work.

I'm pretty easy.

I didn't get Uggs at first because my DH said I look like his students- he teaches high school. I must admit they are not the most attractive shoes but they sure are the warmest and most comfy. He will change his mind don't worry. Now my DH thinks they're cute on me.

Oooh you just reminded me that I want to put DKNY Be Delicious on my list! Thank you!

I just posted a bunch of sweaters from Banana Republic and Gap that are good for work or casual.

How adorable are you? Thanks for the sweater ideas, and the perfume! What does it smell like? I need a new scent that I love!

I have tried green. It doesn't work on my issue unfortunately, and if I use enough to make it look OK, it looks cakey.

Re: Q of the day - Holiday Wish list

I actually wrote out a wish list and gave to DH & my family because no one ever knows what to get me, and usually gets me stuff I don't need. I put down a variety of stuff from low end gifts to high, so maybe if a few of them wanted to chip in and get one big gift there are some ideas for that too.

Wish list includes:
-socks
-shoes (black work shoes & short brown boots to replace the ones I have that are looking old)
-sweaters (I specified the type that looks best on me like cowl neck or v neck)
-ipod car kit that plays it through your car speakers
-GPS system for my car
-new trash can for my kitchen
-magazine rack
-decor for our bedroom (ie, pictures with a blue floral theme), etc.

Of course DH knows what I really want is a trip somewhere, I just doubt we have the funds to do that right now. But last year he surprised me with a weekend get away, so maybe he'll continue the tradition (I hope!).

I work with mentally ill...So there is no such thing as a 'holiday' it ***** sometimes..but when I see all these poor men that are sick and hardly have any families of their own..it shows me the true meaning of christmas...forget the gifts..being with the ones you love is most important
