ugh.. its mostly about silly things.. and it just escalates.. i sometimes egg him on when he doesn't do stuff or does stuff in a sloppy way, he starts screaming and then i start crying.. very bad.. but we're getting better at it.. we never lived together before we got married, so i think this is all part of 'growing' up..

Definitely about work. To him, work is #1 no matter what OVER me and he has even said that and he expects me to understand

for me work is about making money JUST SO we can do things we enjoy

Oh, my DH was like this too - more so when he owned his own business. I hardly saw him then. Now that he works for someone else, he is home a lot more.

He goes ATV-ing a lot too and we fight about that. But he doesn't go as much as he used to - I think this is more because he knows money is thinner now and we need to save more...

oh yea DH owns his own business so that is the problem

in the winter he started working FOR his uncle to make extra money and he is SO different with that job, not just hte hours - he is also able to LEAVE the job when he comes home, mentally

we don't fight that much except sometimes i tell him he's a slob and he gets annoyed at me for saying i'm going to do all this stuff but then i never motivate to do it.

we NEVER fight about money... = separate bank accounts

We argue about my apt. not selling. It not selling has caused some major financial stress especially because I became unemployed right after the wedding.

DH thinks I'm too easy on the cats (yes, the CATS) and that I'll be a pushover mother! He thinks that b/c I don't reprimand cats I wont reprimand a child.

Have you ever TRIED to reprimand a cat? They don't care. They do what they want to do. They're CATS.

Money. DH was out of work for a couple of months so it has been extremely stressful financially for me.

He would constantly go to his families house after work, it kinda bothered me, its like your married now come home to your wife...a few times a week ok, but everyday it was pissing me off...so we resolved that.

My spending habits, if i have money i feel like i need to spend it. I lived with my parents before i got married so i wasn't used to paying 'big bills' and would spend my money on clothing, nails, hair etc... It really hit me when i realized i cant spend like that anymore so im trying now.

Messy house always causes a fight.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I make more then he does. He is cool with that but wants to spend his $ on whatever and I should save mine. Um no. I dont smoke anymore and he does. I told him I am ok with that but he can not afford to smoke a pack a day and he should either cut back or roll his own. I also said he should bring lunch and make coffee but I buy lunch and coffee but I make more so I can afford it. So my answer is $$$$!

Re: QOTD #2

My dh works long hours cuz he owns his own business and he does not have any partners. So its all on his head. We have about 15 people on payroll and he's responsible for their livelyhood

He gets really stressed from little things like the house being messy. I am a very messy person and pretty much put off cleaning day to day things like laundry. I let it build up for weeks and I will let the sink fill with dishes for a week until the cleaning people come. If he has a stressful day on tues or wednesday he comes home to a mess even though it will be cleaned thursday he gets really mad

I deal though. I should clean up after myself. I leave a trail of dishes and mess in each room
Business is busier then ever in all the years I have known him so I never complain to him about him working a lot cuz I know so many who aren't working right now

DH always complains about these 3 things and it drives me to drink!

1-Traffic
2-Bad Service in a Restaurant
3-Airport Delays

I am a happy go lucky person and try to balance him out but I can only be positive for so long before it really starts to wear on me

Re: QOTD #2

me & DH actually very rarely fight. We never really did. He's just such a soft spoken guy - even if an argument is beginning, he quickly ends it. It makes him a very irritating person to try and argue with. lol.

We have had some petty disagreements though since getting married. Like DH wanting to teach me how to drive stick, and I'm all like 'NEVERRR!!!'. Or him making weekend plans with his friends for the BOTH of us and I don't wanna be apart of it. Stupid stuff like that. If I do get mad at him, I simply curl up into what he calls the 'rolly polly'. And I don't come out until he makes it all better. lol (he does this by hugging or kissing me, or by apologizing or explaining his side better). It's funny and very rarely a SERIOUS thing.

I think the only time that we've ever had a REAL fight was when we were engaged. DH has had a very rough past in general, and the only argument we ever really got into happened when an old girlfriend resurfaced for like a minute. I get VERY sensitive about his past relationships, even though I don't consider myself a jealous person (if you knew the whole story, you'd understand - but I'd rather not share details on here). So if something like THAT is brought up again, then yessss, there would be another argument. But he understands where I'm coming from, and he's very careful when it comes to stuff like this. So there's really no reason for us to ever get into another fight about it.

House chores!! We are constantly bickering about who does what and how he thinks he does everything the right way and i dont. Im generally a messy person and he is a neat freak. We are working on meeting somewhere in the middle but its not easy. Its really annoying. And unfortunately sometimes dumb little fights can escalate for no reason.
