ok i'll answer first
we def have mini fights over what project to do next... like, in the spring, DH wants buy the rest of the fence for the backyard and finish putting it up... which i think the next thing we NEED is a garage b/c we have NO basement and NO PLACE to store ANYTHING right now.... so i think THAT takes priority over a fence IMO

Re: QOTD #2
I have to be completely honest here - DH and I really don't fight and never have. When I say we had a 'fight' what that really is is DH getting mad about something and raising his voice and me crying about it
I have learned that when he reacts like that to something I am saying or feeling, that maybe it really is kinda silly. When I am voicing something that's very important, or major, he never reacts that way. So, the times when he gets angry, I look at myself and say, 'Ok, was that REALLY something you should be flipping out about?!' And 9 out of 10 times, it really WAS stupid. That is something I have learned to read about DH during our years.

Re: QOTD #2
we've both been cranky lately so that is the only thing we really argue over - like that one of us is in a bad mood.....i think its the that winter is making us both crabby - we both want to move so bad and are kind of stuck just waiting to hear something about this house and we both want it so bad and its been a little stressful - so with those two things id say we are both more grumpy than usual and that can cause mini arguments here and there,,,,,

We sort of had a talk which lead to a fight which has seemed to clear itself up. I tend to get pissy and barricade myself in the bedroom. (Literally I move the dresser to the door so that I can get out but he cant get in.)
thankfully *knocks on wood* everything is 100 times better in that dept.

MONEY
Its not really a fight but he doesnt understand the need that women have to buy things and constantly rolling his eyes when I get something and asks 'why do you need that' or 'what is that for'. It really irritates the sh*t out of me and I get so snappy. Or when I get my hair done he is always like 'how much' and 'again, you just got it done'. We never shared bank accounts before the wedding so this was never an issue. I think he is starting to get better about it but it has taken like 8 months!!!!

before we got married i used to get acrylic nails done and a pedi every 2 weeks.. which was about $100 a month... so after we got the house i decide that i was going to stop the acylic nails b/c its an expense we just dont need to be spending now... BUT i decided to keep up with the pedicures b/c really - its $16 every 2 weeks and its the ONE thing i do to pamper myself!!!
at first DH was like, wow do you really need to get pedicures? i was like umm really, i stopped getting acrylic nails so shuve it

we fight about money sometimes. I'm responsible for making sure that everything is paid on time, and I pay most of the bills, so its frustrating when he doesn't ever think about money. I have to be the one to watch that we don't go over our minutes on our phones. I have to be the one to watch our savings and spending. Sometimes i just wish he would take interest and not just let me handle it all.

Re: QOTD #2
Dh is a graphic designer.. and thinks he has a better eye than everyone else... example: Me 'the sky is really blue today it's so bright' DH 'actually there are some highlights of grey and white through out'
Me 'I like the black shutters on a house with grey siding' DH 'Well a shutter with forest green undertones would look better'
He corrects people all the time and it caused an arguement between the two of us.. he still thought he did nothing wrong and didn't recognize he was doing this- That was untill in the past week 2 other people ((with out knowing our arguement)) mentioned that he ALWAYS does this!!

How he needs to go back to college to get his teaching credits or I'm not going to have a baby. I know, I know, it sounds really selfish but we can't have a baby in a one income household.

Eh, we don't really fight. We share a bank account and DH handles the bills, but it bothers me to know end when he makes comments that HE is paying the bills. He doesn't mean it as he is paying and I'm not since it's a joint account, but he should be saying WE. Stupid I know, but I think I get this feminist crap from my mother

That is my issue to to a tea!!! I now forward all the bills to his email acct so I can't hear how he didn't know about this bill or when it was due.

THAT IS SO GREAT TO HEAR!!!!!!
We also fight about sex .. he wants / 'needs' it so much more than I do. But I've gotten better at that and he's noticed, but it's still not enough for him
We also fight about money. He likes to spend, I like to save. He's getting better at that, but the bigger issue is ...
We have a joint account but don't use it (opened it only to cash wedding checks) ... he is stubborn and refuses to use online banking ... we now both have accounts at Bank of America and a joint but in order to pay rent every month, he has to give me cash!!!! And then I have to deposit it into the joint. It's ridiculous. He could just transfer it online SO easily. Or give me his code for the bank online and I would do it. He says he trusts me, that he is not worried I would spend his money (come on now) but still, for some stupid reason, refuses to be smart about it. SO FRIGGIN FRUSTRATING.

Definitely about work. To him, work is #1 no matter what OVER me and he has even said that and he expects me to understand
for me work is about making money JUST SO we can do things we enjoy

Oh, my DH was like this too - more so when he owned his own business. I hardly saw him then. Now that he works for someone else, he is home a lot more.
He goes ATV-ing a lot too and we fight about that. But he doesn't go as much as he used to - I think this is more because he knows money is thinner now and we need to save more...
