How long did you- are you waiting before you guys start trying?

I want to start trying in 6 months.... Im not getting any younger
DH kinda wants a year, but I told him since I need to first get off the pill and regulate, that it might take monthssss before it even happens. Hes on board for me to get off in 6 months

We are going to start as soon as the Dr. gives me the ok after my surgery in Sept....so I am guessing maybe close to the holidays

we will be married 1 year this October and i think i will stop my pill sometime in the spring of 2010. hopefully it doesn't take too long, i would like a spring 2011 baby! we had decided we would wait at least a year, hopefully 2 years of being married before we had a baby. DH would wait longer if i would let him. plus there are always other things to get in order as well.
FH always wanted to wait a year and I agreed to it that way we can enjoy marriage and travel a little more. But I have the baby itch big time.

Id like the first one before im 30.... so maybe in 2-3 yrs... Dh & I are def on the same page... we want to enjoy the freedom we have right now

We have discussed waiting 3-4 years. Sometimes I feel like I have baby fever, but am not in a rush. I have to complete my Master's, hopefully find a permanent job, and ideally, get tenure! DH's friend is expecting a son soon, and DH has baby fever bigtime right now!

I want a baby like tomorrow but we are in the process of buying a coop and I want to save just a bit before I get preg.. I am thinking we will start trying in a year.

We're both decided that we're going to wait until I'm done with most of my PhD program, so that's like 4 or 5 years from now. I've always been fine with that, but recently one of our family friends had a baby and now I'm getting the baby itch. I need to stop with that, I'm too young and have too many things to do first.

I'm turning 26 next month and DH wants to wait another three yrs so most likely when I turn either 28-29. DH really wants to have kids when he turns 30. We both discussed that we want to give ourselves approx. 3 yrs. before we are ready for a baby. This way we get to travel and do our own things and then finally make time caring for a baby.

I think we finally agreed to wait until our 1 year anniversary. DH would like to wait longer but he knows my concerns, but it also depends on where I am job wise.

we already have one child, shes 5 right now.
we will be trying for baby #2 late 2010....waiting this long because ill be almost done with my masters degree by then

We are waiting too- THe doctor gave me the 'lets see' and ran a few more tests- I find out everything TUesday.
we wanted to wait atleast a year...and travel alot. Plus fh is starting a new profession in a week- with a pay cut for a while so.....it all depends!

We are kinda TTC right now.....like a PP said, we arent' getting any younger lol!!! I am scared of pregnancy though....anyone else feel this way?? (Maybe that's another post lol!!! )
