We are kinda TTC right now.....like a PP said, we arent' getting any younger lol!!! I am scared of pregnancy though....anyone else feel this way?? (Maybe that's another post lol!!! )
When we first got married I had a major itch. Then it passed, we are going to start trying in the next few months. I know how selfish it sounds but the biggest reason I dont want to try is because I do not want to be preggers for 9 months!!! All the weddings I have to go to and traveling I want to do, being preggers just sounds horrible lol

I really wanted to wait a good few years so that we can enjoy married life, travel, be settled in a home, etc. Unfortunately, by the time I'll be done with school (I'm working on a nursing degree, switching career directions from Finance) and settled in my new career, I'll be nearing 30 (I'm 26 now). So we probably won't get much time to travel and all that good stuff before we start trying.

Ideally I'd like to wait at least a year BUT I just turned 30 so I don't want to wait toooooo long... so I guess we'll see.

it feels like the older I get, the less I see them fit my lifestyle. but hopefully that will change in a year or two.

we discussed this on our honeymoon... if all goes well w/ jobs we will start trying in 6 months.... if not at least another year.... We both have the itch bad... DH is 30 so hes ready

We plan to try and wait until I am almost finished with my PhD so hopefully two years. Right now I just want to enjoy being married.

i think we might start trying in June - that would be 1 year and a half after our wedding....but who knows! it could be longer!

I kinda went backwards and had a baby first... , my little man is 4 already. He's the best thing thats ever happened to me <3. But now that the weddings over Im also starting to want another.
After my son was born I had many complications and have been told I probably wont be able to have anymore children. Last week DH and I started discussing adoption. I think its such a wonderful thing...and I would get my little girl I always wanted so badly. I just dont know where to start or what to do???
We plan to start trying two years from now, hoping for a spring/summer 2012 baby

We are going to start as soon as the Dr. gives me the ok after my surgery in Sept....so I am guessing maybe close to the holidays

Another RH twin! Good for you - believe me I know what you mean about wanting to wait a little while & enjoy each other - children do change your lives permanently!

Well our situation is much different than most I believe that are on here. when DH & I first started dating we moved in together after 6 months of being together & then bought a house almost another 6 months later. We have been together for almost 6 years, have done a lot of travelling already (that's another reason why we did 13 day HM) and Im now 38 and DH is 41 - I don't want to be trying well into my 40's - just b/c of more health risks for the child, and I dont want to be almost 50 having our 1st & wont live long enough to see him/her get married!...lol So we have been trying for only a few weeks now but are hoping to be pregnant by Christmas. That would be the best present to give to both our parents. But I totally understand everyone's choice to want to wait. For a few years I wasnt even sure I wanted children anymore until DH & I got engaged, then slowly but surely the itch crept up on us both!
Enjoy your time for those who are waiting & Best of luck to all who are now trying along with me!

I've had the baby itch for years!! DH would like to wait at least a year to spend time together alone but to me that doesn't make much sense since we've been together for 8 years and lived together for 3 years. We've had plenty alone time!!

OMG I totally agree! I thought I was the only one out there... I totally don't have the itch at all and can't see myself having it!
We got married in november of 08 and have since been away 2 times (3 if you include the HM) we're going away again in November and it's enough of a hassle to get someone to watch our 3.5lb dog!!
Just glad to hear that I'm not the only one out there who feels like they wont fit!
