In your opinion, what makes a GOOD WIFE?

Len seems to think now that I am a wife I should cook and clean all the time, we've already begun to argue. I say a Good Wife is one who shows support, love and works together with her husband to keep the house, expenses, etc. . .
A good wife is not synonomous to Slave.

What do you all think makes a GOOD WIFE?

There is no perfect wife or husband. Liz a good wife is as good as her husband is, supportive, respectful, understanding, considerate and vice versa. I think both people have to work together to make the partnership work.

Roger and I do what we like, not that he is consistent, and at times he seems to need an invitation to do his duties, but I gently remind him.

I think I am a wonderful wife and just b/c I might not fit into his vision of what he wanted as the 'perfect wife' does not make me any less so, I know for a fact he does not fit in to my mold of a 'perfect husband' growing up. Romantic, flowers, showering me with gifts and compliments etc, etc, I guess that's what tv and books does to one. LOL

We both work together to make the union flow smoothly. I try to do my part to make this a good home, but I also do not work myself to death. Each person has to pitch in, especially when we both work. OFf to do laundry, and vacuum and make sure dinner is ready by 5
