QOTD: What do you call your in-laws?

I always write mom and dad on cards... but I really don't call them anything!!!

I dont call them anything...sometimes I'll say hey lady... when im trying to get his mom's attention... they think it is funny... i need to get over this!!

I call them by their first names and my DH does the same for my parents.

When I write a card from both my DH and I, I would address address them as mom and/or dad but that is the only time I would address them as mom/dad and same goes for my DH with my parents.

Mom I used for my MIL. Hubby calls them Mom & Dad, but we've been together for over 6 years, so its so natural. I usually don't call MIL anything unless its needed. Cards I always write Mom

Seriously...nothing feels comfortable.
MIL is dying for me to call her Mom, but that will NEVER happen!
Once we have kids I will refer to them as Grandma & Grandpa...that's about it.

I try not to say their first names cause it makes me uncomfortable as well-- but, when in desparate times-- I call them by their first name.

Same here!! And now I feel much better about it after seeing most of you are the same way-there was a great Everybody Loves Raymond episode on this--

usually nothing but on cards mom and dad. once in a while i will address my fil as dad but thats about it.
