Queens Gals...

i did a MAJOR cleanout of my closet/wardrobe today and have about 3 huge hefty bags filled with clothes/shoes/etc that i'm getting rid of...does anyone know of a clothing drop in the forest hills area or remotely close?? i really would like to donate them! tia

I haven't been in Queens long enough to find/notice anything. I have been waiting to donate some clothes as well.

thanks for the replies ladie...i'm gonna call around.. i dont know why there aren't any drop boxes around u'd think in the city they'd be all over! maybe they're afraid people will steal from them..who knows.. i'm sure there are some shelters/churches around that will take them..

There's a Goodwill store on Steinway if youre willing to drive all that stuff there. Theres also a church I call and they pick up bag that I leave on the front step during the AM.

come to think of it..there may be one down the block from me on Myrtle and 65th street near the Stop and Shop. I don't know if you want to go down there. Between Central and Myrtle.

I am pretty sure they have a drop box b/c I am thinking now that I always see those big boxes outside whenever I leave.....

yeah that is the one I know of, but otherwise maybe contact a church.

I dont know of any drop boxes but Salvation army on steinway takes donations
