Question about changing name on license at DMV

When you go to DMV to change your name on your license do you have to take a new picture or do you just keep the old one? TIA!

i had to take a new pic. you also have to sign your new name so your new signature is on your new license.

I took a new picture. But I needed one badly. Like previous poster said you do have to go in person so that they have your new signature. HTH

They made me take a new picture, I think whenever you go there they do it

my picture is the same picture from highschool and I look like an ANIMAL lol!! it was before I got my eyebrows waxed. I seriously look like a gorilla.

Just read this, soo funny! I'm glad you posted this bc I have to go this week to do the same and I didn't know they take a new pic. yay! I'm glad bc I look as white as a ghost on my license pic lol.

I had to take a new pic!!!!!! I was so upset, b/c I didn't know and my hair was a mess lol. I hate my new pic. When we move out of state I am looking forward to getting my new license.

They had me take a new pic, probably because they needed me to sign my name with my married name for the license. Yeah, my hair was a mess, too. I hopefully should be receiving it tomorrow (went last Friday 7/17). . .since I had them change my name on my new car title and that came in the mail today!!!

I went on Thursday and they did make me take another picture. I am going to have to go back again to change my name on my title. I seriously hate the DMV.
