okay..i have a stupid question..when you bring in your gown to be preserved, do you bring anything else in? i.e- your slip, veil, headpiece, etc. or is it just your gown itself? thanks!!!

I brought my vail, my gloves and my gown. My shoes got a lot of pulls on them (since they were satin) from the rough material inside the slip. So, I am just going to keep them in a shoe box at my parents house, for memory sake .

I am having my dress and veil preserved. Dying one pair of my wedding shoes black so I'll wear them and the other I have already worn out (they were a bit unconvential )

I just sent my dress to be cleaned and boxed... I don't think it is going to be preserved too. My veil never got touched by anything, so I didn't bother. It's in our card box with a bunch of other wedding stuff.
