How many of you got digital files that you could print on a disk. I paid alot of money for my pictures and I just feel ripped off knowing that I do not have the rights to print them on my own and I am just curious who got digital files.

Yes, we got digital files as well because friends had warned us that if they photog owns the digital images, then you have to go to them for reprints and the jack up the prices.

Re: question about your photographer?
OMG I get so mad about this... I guess it's our fault though, we didn't even think to ask about a disk when we first booked our photography. But now anytime we want prints of anything, we have to order through them... and depending on teh size we want, it's anywhere from $7 to $20 a print. So frustrating. I hope that when we finally do our album and it's done, they will give us a disk at that point.

Re: question about your photographer?
I got the high res cd for about $100. We only had about 450 pics so I don't know if that's why it wasn't that expensive.

Ok, at least I'm not alone. My photog gave me these really cool books w/ the proofs-----but they're NOT THE SAME as digital images. The only digital pics I have are from friends cameras. Luved my photog in every other way, but this is something that I totally regret.
PS---Just thinking about this gets my blood boiling.

Re: question about your photographer?
That's all we asked for was the pics on a disc in hi res. We're doing the thank you cards and albums on our own. I'm happy now b/c he kinda annoyed me by missing a lot of important pics. Now I don't have to deal with him at all anymore.
