QUESTION: Bridal Party Photo

Are you going or did you give a BP group photo to all the members in the BP? Do people still do this?

I gave my bridal party photos that were meaningful to them. Since my bridesmaids were not great friends withthe groomsmen, i knew they wouldnt want a group photo. So I gave them photos of them withtheir dates, dancing, etc.. Whatever I thought they would appreciate.

I am giving out photoCD's for our TY's & the BP will have a series of photos featuring them & their role in our wedding as part of the CD.

I had included in my photography package 1-5x7 picture for each Bridesmaid. I gave each BM a picture of the 2 of us except for my SIL (DH's sister) who I gave a family picture. I did not give them a bridal party picture because I figured that would nto be meaningful to them since they are from all different groups of mine.

I did not give the GM a picture - I am not sure they would want it since they are guys. I did give them any duplicates of proofs I had of them and their wives/date.

DH did get a group shot once and it was really nice - but the GM were his friends growing up. And my other SIL gave me a 5x7 of the two of us (me and her).

I am doing this also - we had a small BP - 4 girls, 4 guys. I'm also adding single pictures to the group pics for each girl. 2 of my BMs are single, so in addition to the group picture, I'm including meaningful single shots of them with me and Craig, and for the couples - pics of them together. I have the proofs picked out already, I just have to scan them and wait for our professional pics to come back before I can hand them out... Oh the SUSPENSE! :)

we actually got screwed on this. no where in the contract does it say that 5x7 bridal party photos were going to only be one pose. who does this? but sure enough we go to pick up our proofs and they tell us that we have to pick one pose for the bridal party pictures! i've been in 7 wedding parties and i have never heard of this! like they want a picture of the entire bridal party! they would rather a picture more meaningful to them! sorry i'm just venting now............

I gave all my BM's pictures of the two of us. I didn't get anything for the guys since there wasn't really any photos worth it, and I didn't think they would appreciate it.

I gave one to each of my bridesmaids (4 total).

This was part of my package, so I thought it made a nice gift. I gave one to each girl for Christmas in a nice picture frame.

We'ved asked our photographer to do this. It was part of our 'must take' photo list. There was no extra charge from our photographer. Yoiu need to check with your photographer.
