What hotel did you stay in? Wilderness Lodge

What did you do? We visited Disney for 4 days....did almost all of the places in the park

Do you recommend the location and hotel for a vacation? YES!!! the hotel was the most awesome place we had ever stayed. We were treaded like a King and Queen. Our room was upgraded to one that over looked the pool area. We got a bottle of champagne in our room one night. We ordered room service and were not charges for it. I’m not sure if that’s the way they treat all honeymooners but we were there in October of 2001, and being right after 9/11, and lots of people canceling their
vacations maybe. Every restaurant that we went to put us a the best table (near the window or in a private corner!!)

Even though this was not our original plans for our honeymoon, we were going on a 2 week cruise on the Mediterranean, we still had a incredible time!! I would defiantly recommend Disney for your honeymoon

Oahu - Halekulani
Kuaui - Hyatt
Maui - Four Seasons

What did you do?
Mostly sat in lounge chairs, drinking smoothies, and feeling happy! Also some snorkeling, a light hike, a boat trip, a luau, and lots of fine dining!

Exciting places you visited?
Napali Coast on Kuaui, definately take a boat ride or helicopter ride to see it, its gorgeous!

Do you recommend the location and hotel for a vacation? YES!!!

Where did you go? Aruba

What hotel did you stay in? Marriott

What did you do? Hung out at the pool, pool bar and beach. Ate at some great places. We went horse-back riding, took a Jeep tour and went to a spa on the beach.

Exciting places you visited? Everything there was gorgeous!! The island is small so there wasn't too many place to visit but during horseback riding and the Jeep tour we got to see the whole island.

Do you recommend the location and hotel for a vacation? Yes----100% It was the best vacation I have ever been on!

I went to Jamaica

Stayed at Sandals Montego Bay. Since we were on our honeymoon, we were upgraded from a garden view to an ocean view room.

I saw the ocean from the lobby and I was in love with place. The room was gorgeous with bright tropical colors. When I stepped out of the door, there was a round table with two chairs off to the side. Then we had a little grassy area with two beach chairs. A few feet off was the ocean. We had a breathtaking view

We did the following:
-banana boat
-snorkling -- lots of fun
-glass bottom boat
-got dressed up for dinner every night, and we would finish the evening with dancing or a show.
-beach, beach, and more beach
-beach party
-lunch at the 2 other sandals' properties in Mo Bay, Ocho Rios, and Negrill
-ate too much (I must have gained 5 pounds in 1 one week)

Exciting places:
-Dunns River Falls
-Rick's Cafe (best sunset)
-Hedonism II (The Sandals in Negril is located next to Hedonism and you can go onto their property -- let just say it lives up to its name) I don't think I could stay there.

I would recommend Sadals Mo Bay. We had a wonderful time, food was excellent, lots of activities, younger crowd than the other two properties in Mo Bay. We are planning to go back for our 5th anniversary.

Maui - Fairmont Kea Lani

What did you do/exciting places? Relaxed by beach and pool; lots of romantic dinners; Old Lahaina Luau; Road to Hana; sunset cruise

I would recommend all of these hotels. It was a wonderful honeymoon, Hawaii is amazing!!

Where did you go?
We went to California and drove up the coast from Huntington Beach to Napa.

What hotel did you stay in?
We spent 2 nights at the Huntington Beach Hilton
2 nights at the Beverly Hilton
1 night at the Doubletree in Santa Barbara
2 nights in Monterrey at the Hyatt
2 nights at the Hilton Fisherman's Wharf (I think) in San Francisco
and 3 nights at the Sonoma County Hilton.

What did you do?
We drove a lot and didn't commit to seeing anything, but we got to see most of the sites on the west coast. Spent lots of time at the beach and just had a great time.

Do you recommend the location and hotel for a vacation?
This was a great vacation but I don't recommend it if you don't like to drive. We're going back to LA in the Winter - I'm there for business and will probably fly up to Napa for the weekend to get another taste of Wine Country.

OMG JILLIAN, I also went to Aruba and stayed at the Marriott and got married the week after you, so maybe we were there at the same time??????

Went for 10 wonderful days and would highly recommend it to everybody!!! It was the best vacation of our lives and I wish I was on that beach right now sipping some frozen monkey or whatever and relaxing!!!!

Where did you go: Grand Cayman and Disney

Where did you stay: Marriott in Grand Cayman, Sheraton Vistana right outside Disney

What did you do: In the Caymans - pretty much nothing. We needed the rest! We sipped drinks, sat at the beach and pool, went snorkling, and went to dinner every night.
At Disney: We hit just about every theme park you could imagine and had the greatest time!

Would I recommend: Absolutely. Both extremes were so great. Relaxing one week, busy the next. We had such a wonderful time just being with each other.

We went to TAHITI - Moorea and Bora Bora.
It was incredible, but I have posted details and pics from it so many times on the bride's board that I will spare you all from doing it again.

Just do a search for my posts on Tahiti. I *highly* recommend it as a honeymoon/romantic destination, but not a family vacation unless you stay at Club Med!

It was the trip of a lifetime!!! We still dream about it!

Where did you go? We spent 2 weeks in Spain (Madrid, Sevilla, Granada, and Marbella)

Sevilla - Hotel Alfonso XIII
Granada - the Alahambra Hotel
Marbella - Hotel Puente Romano

What did you do? Everything - museums, bull fight, shoppiing, eating, beached it the last week while in Marbella

Exciting places you visited? Prado, the Cathedral in Sevilla, the Alahambra in Granada

Do you recommend the location and hotel for a vacation? - I highly recommend it all - all the hotel were 5 star hotels and worth every penny

Went to Italy.

Stayed in several hotels (Venice, Rome, Sorrento, Florence)

Saw & did all the things people do there - leaning tower of Pisa, Collesium, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Vatican, Michelangelo's David, Pompei, Gondola Ride, etc...

Absolutely recommend. Pics to follow.

Went to Sandals in St. Lucia

I didn't do much of anything except sit by the pool and drink fruity drinks all day and chat with a ton of other newleyweds! DH went golfing, diving, snorkeling, pool volleyball, drinking contests, shuffleboard (all included in the price).

Loved it and would definitely recommend for a honeymoon or romantic vacation!!

We went to Rome 3 months after the wedding (I was actually there on Business) and loved it. We treated that as our 2nd Honeymoon.

I'd definately recommend going there. Sooooo Romantic and lots to see. Could be a little tiring for a honeymoon.

We had a BLAST, and highly recommend it
We layed in the sun, and drank
We also did a night cruise, and Day sail, where we saw a volcano, sulfur springs, a walk in the rain forest, and wlked by a beautiful waterfall. We had a great view of the Piton mountains.
We also did a horseback riding adventure on the beach, and rode in the water on the horses.
