question..is it better to be a bi*ch?

im very curious to what everyone thinks on this..is it better to be a biotch in life or to be nice

i have really tried hard in life to be a generally nice person..u know help out others before myself..always hold the door,,say thank you..donate blood all that stuff

and where has it got me..dh and i were talking last night and he has said before how i am too nice and most of the time people walk all over me and/or take advantage..and yes sometimes i know they do..esp recently with some people i thought were friends.

so my question is..is it better to be a biotch?to be more stern and have a backbone..which i know i dont..or in the end does being nice pay off?

How about a mix of the two?

I don't think you should stop being who you are....which is a genuinely nice person. BUT....if you are taken advantage of or disrespected, let the bi*ch out!

And your friends shouldn't be taking advantage of you.

Most of the time, I say it's better to be a good person....however, that seems to bite me in the a$$ quite often!!!!

However, it's not in my nature to be biotchy ALL the time.

I think it’s better to be nice than to be a biotch. I know for myself, there are people who take crazy advantage of me (one person in particular) but at the end of the day, they have to live with themselves and I have to live with myself. And I know that I’d rather say to myself-wow I was really a nice person to them and they just didn’t appreciate it, rather than-whoa, what a biotch I was.
DH would disagree with me and he always tells me that I’m too nice to certain people who really don’t deserve it. But, that’s just who I am.

I do have a backbone and stand up for myself but also always consider others' feelings and try to be considerate and go the extra mile for others
so I think its better to be a b!tch
I see other ppl that act like I would never and get everything no matter what it is: further in life, ppl showing up to their weddings, always having gazillion friends.
I barely have any friends and consider others' feelings

so what does it tell ya?

I'm generally a nice person...and thats how most people see me.

But there are times that I can be a beeotch.
Just have to know when to use it I suppose.

A mix of both. At times you do need to be a bit%# and stand up for yourself...

i don't think anyone has to be a b*tch...being a b*tch and being more assertive are interchangable too often! stay wonderful and nice, but it's ok to put your foot down!

Gina, vin and I were talking about u the otehr day... that ur too nice and that people probably take advantage...

And I agree. Becuse look at me. I had retarded friends who thought my wedding was in a restaurant and didnt come...instead went on vacation, and like a jerky girl i forgave...

I am trying to be more of a biatch lately because the people at my job who have the 'who the heck cares' attitude do not get picked on by theb oss. They do what they want, when they want. Go to the bathroom etc.

So... it hink tis better to be a Big B with those you dont really love, but then be agood person to those who wont hurt me...

Like i could never be a Big B to u... I just want to hug u...

i think you have to be both at certain times. i consider myself a nice person though, the b*tch only comes out when it has to and its very rare for me. but if at the end of the day, you're left feeling unsatisfied cause ppl are taking advantage of you, then it's time to just start saying no to ppl. but just cause you say no doesnt mean you're a b*tch!

I'm definitely on team nice....I believe in karma and treating people the way I want to be treated..

Although I am very good at holding my own

This is a really good question...

I think that it is better to be nice, expecially of course if that is who you really are. Im sure most of us, since getting married, have experienced some changes in our friendships. We really got to learn who our friends really are. If you're like me, then you were happy to get rid of those toxic people. So what Im thinking that you should stay the nice person you are, but maybe pay more attention to people who are starting to take advantage of your kindness. Would we really even want to be friends with people who are selfish and inconsiderate?

Just because you are kind, doesnt mean that you are weak!!

Ok i just rambled and dont know if i even made sense

Half and half. You can be sweet as pie to those who deserve it, but get on the wrong side and the inner biatch comes out!

Re: question..is it better to be a bi*ch?

how do u handle the guilt? ami nuts..is this the only one it happens to

i mean im the type of person who cant say no..like say someone was like ooh can i borrow this dress..even though i was planning on wearing it that night..i would lend it out and wear somethign else cause id feel bad

same thing with like if i say something i think offended u in the slightest way..i will feel guilty for the rest of the day for saying it..even if what the person says to me was really bad

how do i get a back bone

Contrary to popular belief, I think that overall I am a nice person. But I do have a backbone, strong opinions, stand up for myself...and if it offends people in the process, I typically don't care. I might not have that many friends as a result, but I also don't get pushed around, so for me I'm ok with that.

I'm a combo of both. I can be really nice and I do bend over backwards and go beyond to help my friends and with some do more than they will ever do for me and I don't care about that, I do it because its just how I am.

But on the other hand, if someone crosses me, then they need to stay away from me because I can be the biggest b!tch.
