Quick poll - TY for interview - card or letter?

Quick poll - TY for interview - card or letter?

What do you ladies think? I've got about 10 hours to make this decision because it's gotta go in the mail first thing tomorrow morning.

My friend who has been interviewing for the last year (and just landed an awesome job) says card because it's unique and personal.

I never did that before... I always just put it on my resume paper.

TIA!

If it is for a business (legal etc) big business email is okay, because they expect instantaneous thank yous. smaller businesses tend to like something in their hand, so I mail those.

Cards say 'friend' and 'personal' to me JMO. As long as you abide by the 'out in 48 hrs' rule, I think you could send smoke signals and be okay.

I always write a handwritten thank you in a blank note card, although we recently interviewed a bunch of people and all the young people in our department thought it was weird and like the emails better. So I say go based on who interviewed you and what you think they'll prefer.

I agree that handwritten is great - unless it's a big organization then email is probably better but I think everyone sends email and the card really shows you went out of your way. .
