random gift question

i hope this question doesn't make me sound like a total brat, I am just a little concerned that some envelopes may have gone missing from the reception......our wedding was on the 14th, we had 190 guests at our wedding and I was just making my gift spreadsheet for thank you's.....we didn't receive anything from 67 people??? a few have called to say they forgot to bring, etc, I have checked the registry and nothing else is on the way...i know etiquette gives you a year to send a gift, but does 67 missing gifts seem high to anyone??
i am not over concerned with wedding gifts, i just hope nothing was stolen :(

We got stiffed by 1 adult (DH cousin who by the way is a high profile lawyer in Boston)
and then about 5 of DH's friends

i posted a similar question after my wedding; we are still missing 5 envelopes. 67 does seem like a lot. most of the advice i got from other brides was to wait because people may have forgotten and also they have up to a year.

im very sorry you are going through this, its such a crappy situation. is it possible they were put somewhere else? a bag or something? I know after my reception we were in a frenzy to clean out the bridal suite and stuff went everywhere, so unorganized.

one of my missing envelopes is my cousin and his wife, and i can't imagine them not giving a gift but I just can't ask its too embarrassing.

67 is a lot of people. We had a few of DH friends who didn't give us anything also.

I would wait a bit and see what happens cause we received a few presents in the last week or 2 that when I checked the registries weren't mentioned as on the way.

We received cards/gifts from 10 couples (20 people) since the wedding. We are still short 6 couples, 3 of which were in the BP.

hmmmm, that does sound like A LOT! Is there a box or somethign that maybe cards got put into without you knowing? Have you gone through ALL of your wedding supplies??

I hope you find them if they ARE missing.......
