My mom calls me Chrissy sometimes. A lot of people call me Chris, I used to get annoyed by it but now it doesn't bother me as much, except when it's someone I just meet.

DH has a nickname but its really more his actually name. No one calls him by his birth name and I never introduce him as it.

Do any of you girls have a nickname...and not just a pet name that DH calls you, but like a nick name that you grew up with, that continued to stick in your adult life...

im asking cuz i dont have one...and it makes me sad! LOL cuz i think its adorable when people have cute/weird/random nicknames that their friends and family always call them...

my dad tried to give me one last year when i told him i was sad i didnt have one, and he decided it would be 'poopie head' lol so yeah that didnt stick! haha

but DH's has one and i think its the cutest thing in the world... its phopher like fofer, but he makes sure you spell it with the ph! lol it came about when he was a little boy and he couldnt say christopher...so he would always say his name was christophopher! to this day everyone in his family still calls him phopher, or phoph for short...lol he is even uncle phoph to his nephew! and the god phopher to his godchildren! lol

it made me think of this question cuz yesterday i posted about my bil having a baby boy and the boys are kicking ***, and there are no girls yet...and someone wrote...i see a little phophette in your future! i loved it! LOL

lol i def wanna try and make up a cute nickname for my kids when they are little

oh yeah I have more to add that I forgot. DH calls me by my last name ALL the time. Then one day, he kind of switched it up to Sheransky - don't know where that came from except that my last name starts with 'SHE'

Then at some point oh our HM, he started calling me 'SHEETROCK' I have no idea where that came from! He just says he thinks it's funny.

ummm yeah. i'm the queen of bizzare nicknameature. BUT i will say this - my name is elizabeth, and people just randomly started calling me liz in 5th grade, and it stuck and I HATE IT!!!!!!!! and no matter how hard i try, i can't make it stop!!!!

Dh calls me potato

his nickname is coqui which is a frog in PR. his mom ALWAYS calls him that and so does his brother. I always call him by fiis first name.

ever since I was in my early teens everyone called me Reg/Regy, which was odd as in Hebrew/Russian my name is pronounced Re-gg-ina (not gee but gg as in egg)
and since then absolutely everyone calls me that. if DH or any other very close friends call me by my full name I cringe, so doesnt sound right

my mom calls me Reggisha

DH has bazillion other names for me:
Baby Ratto - I asked him numerous times to not call me that but he insists
love ball - this one's my fav
Reggusha - play off of my mom's nickname
and many others LOL

I almost always call him by his last name, which is short and sweet. and pretty much since the moment we started dating I call him sweetie pie

My niece's name is Caroline... and we call her Carolina Rice or Rice and Beans... and one day she was being extra bitchy and I called her Spicey Ricey and that one seems to have stuck... shes only 2 and she already answers to Spice or Spicey!

Almost all of my friends have called me by my last name since college… even now that I’ve officially changed my name they still haven’t stopped with my maiden name!

LOL - that's super cute. My step-dad used to always sing the Carolina rice song to me...Carolinaaaa, the extra long-grain rice!

I have more nicknames than I know what to do with...my dad calls me Big Al (not too fond of that) and Shiz Head, my uncle calls me Ali Baba, my mom called me Pumpkin Head when I was a baby, and my dad's friend coined my personal favorite, Wednesday.

My mom calls me sunshine always has b.c when I was little I had really light hair.

My dad always calls me Nat.


My nickname in elementary school was always Princess, I even had a teacher who called me Princess and now some of DH's friends call me princess. I LOVE IT!




ETA: My cousin Andy always called me 'Nat the Brat' Still does.
