random question time :)

just wondering, how old were you when you moved out of your parents house and into your own apartment / house?

I was 25 ... DH was 27

I was 25. I moved in with my friend (she was a BM). Now that she has her own place and DH moved in with me. I miss her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Technically, I was 18 when I moved into my college dorm....but then moved back home when I was 19. DH pretty much moved in with me, my parents, and my brother when he was 20. Then DH & I bough our house and moved in at 24.

I did go away to school in Buffalo from the time I was 18-22 and stayed in my apartment over the summer twice, car was registered there, got bills there, etc... Moved home after graduating, then moved in with DH when I was 25.

DH moved out when he was 23 with a friend before living with me.

I moved the day we came back from our honeymoon

DH also left his parents apartment this same day. We waited until after marriage. I am 25, Dh is 27.

At 29 when I had $$ for a downpayment on a condo I bought. Previously lived on campus for college (18-22) and abroad in Europe for a semester.

Same w/ DH - didn't move out until 35 when he had enough $$ to buy his home w/ 70% down.

after college - 22 - 26 - moved upstate for work. then came back home to save $ when i got a job in nyc

28 moved out again with DH

i left for college at 18 and only came home for a few summers (some i stayed in nyu dorms). Not sure if that counts though.

If not, I moved into my own apt when I graduated college at 21 (turning 22).

I moved in with DH (before he was my FH) when I was turning 24.

I was 23 and moved to Astoria with roomies. So fun! Love those chicas!

My hubby moved out with a friend when he was like 24 (I think), but his friend screwed him over and he moved back into his mom's. He moved in with me when he was 28 and I was 25.

I went away to college and lived in the dorms the whole time (I was an RA for two years).

Then I moved around for internships for school and lived in employee housing for a long time.

I have only actually had to pay rent in the present ... with DH.

DH and I moved into our first apartment the week after I turned 20. He was 22. Can't complain - we're still here and it's a nice apartment. Just want to start saving already so we can get into a house eventually!

ummm i think i was 20 the first time i moved out. i moved back home when i was 22-23 and then i moved back out less than a year later.
technically im back at my moms house but thats because me and DH moved into the apartment in her house so we still technically have our own place.
