rate your cramps

When i wasn't on bcp, i know my cramps were severe.

now that im on yaz, i'd say mild

I'm on ortho tri cyclen and they are very mild with an ocassional ouch!

Before BC - extremely painful . . .curled in a ball, nauseas
After BC - usually mild with the exception of a bad day here and there.

OMG I just spent Sunday buckled over in pain, crying, and NOTHING seemed to work!!!!

I had severe cramps before I went on BCP. They were so bad that my pediatrician actually prescribed me pain killers once a month. I would have days where they hurt so bad I couldn't get off the couch. While I was on the pill, I still had them pretty bad, but they were bareable & I could function.

After giving birth to my daughter, I still have cramps, but they are modoerate & nothing at all compared to what they were. My doctor said that childbirth often has that effect.

I have never been on BC and my cramps are bad the 1 to 2 days. It used to be 1 to 3 days.

I'm on Nuvaring and I never get cramps. But when I was on Depo Provera before that I never had any cramps either. I never really suffered from cramps before I was on BC either. I guess I'm just lucky in that department.

I was only on BC for about 5 months...but during that time I lost about 15 lbs. couldnt eat, etc. so I have never been on it again

Otherwise, every 4 months my cramps are severe, i mean cant get out of bed, crying, laying in the shower, crawling to the bathroom

The other months they are mid bad, kind of bad but deal able

That happens to me every so often. I also get so sick that I can't hold anything down for a day. I do not like those times. Michael has been so helpful during those times. He says I don't know what you are going through but you are strong for going through this and he so stands by me.

before i went on birth control i had the WOOORST cramps...they'd be everywhere from waist down..all the way to my ankles! - i'd stay home from work because they were so horrible...luckily yasmin is amazing...i dont even feel like i have good old AF! definetly mild now! boobs went up a cup size, and no cramps! it makes me a very happy girl

I used to have a horrible cramp before I start taking birth control pills.... It wasthe most painful experience ever...i can never get our of bed.

Im on the ring too LOVE it! So easy. I was never a hige cramper but went on BC becauseI used to get TWO WEEK logn periods, EVERY 2 weeks! It was craaazy and they were heavy flows throughout. Alot of blood loss obviously so my iron count dropped low. I have been on BC since I was 14; used to be the pills but the ring works best for me.

Orthro Tricylen Lo works for me! I hardly get any. Some months they are a bit more but I hardly get any!!

I was on BC for a very long time and have been off it for about 5 years now. Used to have horrible cramps when I was younger, went away with BC but this last year they have come back with a VENGEANCE!! On Sunday I was curled up on the floor in a ball it hurt so bad.

I'm not on BC, but when I was I never had any.

Now, I usually only get 1-3 horrible cramps on my 2nd day, after that nothing. My biggest pain in is my boobs!!

For at least a whole week before they hurt sooooo bad, that I can barely even roll over in bed!! Then the day before I get it, I get these horrible pains in my thighs....its crazy!

They were there but OKon Yaz, been off for 3-4months now and haven't noticed much cramping, there but OK still. BAck in the day they used to be very, very bad. But I know enough now when the first sign of AF comes I pop and advil,motrin or something!
