Raw footage

It's been a yr and a half since the wedding and my video package did not come with the raw footage - its still available - think I should purchase it? Is there that much more footage than on the edited version.. Any thoughts?

Re: Raw footage

I was wondering the same thing but my videographer told me that there's not too much difference in the raw footage vs. the edited video, meaning they used ALOT of the footage. She didn't think it was worth it but I think it depends on how much is in your video.

Re: Raw footage

We got our raw footage and Im glad we did..but there really isnt that much extra stuff on it b/c our videographers dont cut out most of the good stuff.

I find it really dull to watch the raw footage but my husband loves to watch it. (go figure)

The only reason I wanted it is if I ever wanted to use some of the footage for some other project, I would have it all.

Re: Raw footage

I am thinking they used alot of it also on the edited version and it will probably be dull without the music and everything....

I am just curious what they cut out since I have practically memorized the edited version! Thanks!

Re: Raw footage

I got my raw footage in my package, so I have mine already. It is not that much more than on the edited. It's like a basic home video. I personally feel better knowing I OWN my raw footage, but that's JMO!

Re: Raw footage

I haven't watched mine yet

although I do want to b/c one of my BMs fell on the dancefloor and I am hoping that they got htat on tape maybe to send into America's Funniest Home Videos?

but I didn't really have a desire to have the raw footage...so thats probably why I haven't sat down with it yet
