For those of you that have christmas trees...do you have a fake one or do you get a real one each year?
We're trying to decide what to do. I really don't want a real one because I heard its alot of work and can be messy (and guess who wil be cleaning it up!)

We get a real one. I've always had real ones and I love the smell! Also the problem with a fake one for us is we have no where to store it the rest of the year.
It's work but not too much. It's messy setting it up and taking it down other than that you just have to water it daily and keep the heat low otherwise it will dry out faster

I love real trees, my only issues are they scare me that they will catch on fire and are a pain to keep clean. I feel like I find pine needles years after having a real tree!!!
I am definitely up in the air though because DH wants a real one and I am not so sure. Penney's is having a sale on fake trees so I bought one just in case

I have a fake one I am allergic to pine so I cant get a real one. It works for DH and I.

same here! There is nothing like a real Xmas tree, I love the smell.
Put a garbage underneath the tree (they make special ones for xmas trees), then cover it with the tree skirt. This way when you go to throw it out, you pull the garbage bag up then carry it out. It eliminates so much of the falling needles and helps with the clean up.

I always do real Christmas trees- it's one of our traditions to go out together as a family and pick out a real tree.

We get a real one. I love the smell and we always have so much fun picking it out! Although this year we aren't even putting up a tree because we are moving the first week in January

We're getting a real one this year. I had a fake one for the past few years, but it was small so I got rid of it.
I didn't know about the specially-made garbage bags - gotta grab me one of those!!!
