REALLY wierd letter in the mail!!! need some comments on what you think is going on!

so we got this letter in the mail yesterday... the envelope was not addressed to anyone - it just had our address on it

so i open it & its a handwritten letter on a yellow lined legal pad peice of paper. it said something to te effect of:

Dear Mr/Mrs

I have tried to contact you many times, but your house phone is disconnected. I have also sent you multiple letters via mail with no response. I will be coming by your residence next week and need to top off the rest of the job that we have been doing. Please contact me ASAP to discuss this.

does anyone else find this REALLY FREAKY?????

1st - its not addressed to anyone
2nd - the ppl who owned the house before us did not live in it, they just bought it as an investment
3rd - if this was a 'real' agency, why is it hand written on a peice of paper and not addressed to a specific person?!?!?!





ETA: our house phone is NOT disconnected & we never got anything else in the mail!!
