Jess, what about The Golden Compass? Do you like those types of movies? It was really good. My DH read the book and loved it. He said the book was better though.
I never heard of it. What kind of movie is it?
I guess it would be fantasy/adventure. I'm not usually really into this type of movie, but I ended up liking it. Here's a link: http://www.newline.com/properties/goldencompassthe.html
ETA: Oh that reminds me of another similar type movie...Pan's Labrynth.
that does sound like something I'd like. Thanks! My queue is full now I'll have to notebook this thread. You girls were full of great ideas
What about The Illusionist (Ed Norton and Jessica Biel)?
I LOVED this movie!
From Netflix I recently watched Eagle Eye, What Happens in Vegas and Charlie Wilson's War.
In my queue I have The Other Boleyn Girl, Baby Mama, Wanted, My Best Friend's Girl, Love in the Time of Cholera, August Rush, Into the Wild, Vantage Point, Michael Clayton and Love Guru (although I heard it was terrible)!

DH took me to see that as a surprise b/c he knew how badly I wanted to see it. Little did he know it was subtitles lol Dumb@$$. So once he saw the first line, he fell down in his chair and went to sleep lol
The Fawn is my favorite character.
I try to be open-minded and expand my horizons. I saw it awhile ago, so I don't remember the characters.

Ahh, I want to see 'Chuck and Larry' and I keep catching it at the same part...I hate to miss the beginning. My DH keeps watching it...I wonder why. Gone Baby Gone is another I wanted to see and kept missing the beginning all weekend.

Every time my DH put it on, I would be like 'this again'. I finally got into it and didn't get to see the end. I kept waiting for it to come on again and finally got to see the rest.

my fave movie of all time: Shawshank (but you prob saw it a few times already)
My sister loves 'In America' - I haven't seen it yet
Cider House Rules is GREAT.
City of Angels - if you haven't seen it, it's really good
The Maltese Falcon (love me some Sam Spade - Humphrey Bogart film, not the original)
The Crying Game
To Wong Foo, Thanks for everything, Julie Newmar - I pissed my pants at this movie - Wesley Snipes, Patrick Swayze and John Leguizamo in drag (and looking GOOD)? Genius.
