We don't have Netflix yet. We got it at the machine in Stop & Shop. I was hysterical! My friend told me to watch it because she knows I'm silly like her...she said she laughed so hard. I wasn't expecting that part! I forgot they were in Talladega Nights together too. Did you and your DH see that?

HAHA yes, 'ricky booby'. 'SHAKE AND BAKE'
so many good lines from that movie that DH and I quote over and over again lol

Ok I am highly recommending Dark Knight.

I am not usually into these movies but on Saturday night DH went and got Batman Begins (which we never saw) and we watched that and then Dark Knight right after.

You should see one before the other but you really don't have to. I have to say Heath Ledgers performance was distrubing. Not because he is dead but he was that freakin good at playing the Joker.

My DH saw it before me and said he thought it was that good. I want to watch it again. I thought he was so good in it...I think he did an amazing job with the character. It's such a shame he died. Actually, they're supposed to be re-releasing it to theaters.

I would go see it again in the Theater. I was really suprised because I am not usually into those kind of movies but I sat for over 4 hours watching them back to back. And DH sat through them both and he has ADD and I usually can't get him to sit through a 30 min show.

Well, I really like Christian Bale. I was even more anxious to see it as soon as I heard about Heath Ledger playing the Joker. They said he was taking it to a whole other level. I wasn't expecting the voice...I wasn't used to hearing him without his accent too. I have to ask my DH...he probably would like to see it again in the theater.

I agree , I am not into those movies either, as much as I love Batman and Comic books, I just can't get itno the movies since the Michael Keaton days. However, the Dark Knight was awesome. The only thing I hated about it was how Batman would talk. 'This is my deep, scary voice.' lol I hated that.

Jess, what about The Golden Compass? Do you like those types of movies? It was really good. My DH read the book and loved it. He said the book was better though.

I just love Christian Bale though. I love Morgan Freeman in it too. I'm not really a big Maggie Gyllenhall fan, but I think she was pretty good in it too.

I guess it would be fantasy/adventure. I'm not usually really into this type of movie, but I ended up liking it. Here's a link: http://www.newline.com/properties/goldencompassthe.html

ETA: Oh that reminds me of another similar type movie...Pan's Labrynth.

OMG...I am OBSESSED with Pan's Labrynth. Even if you don't like subtitled movies, you must watch this. The imagery, the actors! It is a magical movie.

I watch this as often as I can. I love Pan's Labrynth.

I actually got my idea for my bridal shower from that movie lol The frog in the tree. I saw these invitations with little frogs on it! I was inspired by the whole frog prince thing after this movie..I know it's not linked, but it made me think of it.

Ugh..I can't say enough about this movie lol

I don't know if you can just rent any movie with Netflix, but the movie Life as a house....everyone must watch this movie at least once in their lifetime.

I watched it one day while home from work, and I almost used a whole box of a tissues. I was balling my eyes out after watching it. :(
