Recommend your shampoo

I am looking for a new shampoo. I have thick wavy hair and it is a bit unruly lately. Any suggestions?
I am currently using Pantene.

I've been using the Fructis Sleek and Shine formula lately, and it's done a pretty good job of keeping my hair under wraps...it's curly/wavy and can get a little frizzy. They make a formula specifically for wavy hair now that I'm probably going to try next.

I you have unruly Wavy or Curly Hair then I suggest Ouidad.

I use the Water Works clarifying shampoo or Curl Quencher Moisturizing Shampoo, depending on what my hair has been doing. But I only shampoo my hair once every three days or so in the winter, more in the summer with salt water and chlorine and such.

I use Curl Quencher Moisturizing Conditioner every day.

Once every month I use their Deep Treatment conditioner and it brings my hair back to life.

I use Botanical Boost to fix it up, its a spray in.

Then best though is the Climate Control Heat and Humidity Gel. It tames unruly hair and brings bounce to it. It wins all kinds of rewards. I totally recommend it.

The stuff is all kind of expensive, but you don't have to use a lot at a time so it goes a long way.

I have been told by many hairdressers to never use Pantene.

I use Paul Mitchell Awaphui Shampoo and The Detangler Conditioner.

Pantene dries your hair out! And you're supposed to switch it up at least once a year (or every other year). My hair is very similar to yours, over the years I've used:

-Redken - Smooth (it's in the bronze bottle)
-Biolage - Smooth
-Aussie - Moist
-Matrix - Curl Life (in the Green Bottle)
-Bumble and Bumble - Curl Conscious for Medium to Thick Hair (this is awesome, but

I'd say the Smoothing stuff and the Bumble and Bumble worked the best. And I've used all the corresponding conditioners as well, and generally felt the same about those too. HTH!

I have tried everything over the years, and honestly have found L'Oreal Vive Pro to be the hands-down best shampoo & conditioner. I use the orange bottles which is the smoothing type.

Sometimes I use the garnier stuff and even herbal essences, but no matter what, the L'oreal is a zillion times better and my hair looks fabulous for 2 - 3 days after a wash with 'the good stuff' -- and it's so affordable!!!!

I always hated my hair except when it was professionally done until I went to Ouidad once and started using her products. Now I can make my hair look great on my own. Especially after I deep condition my hair, it looks fabulous. Even on my wedding day (or any other day I get it professionally done) I brought my shampoo and conditioner and asked them to use it. Not that I still don't have bad hair days, but who doesn't. My mom uses it too and it kept her from getting the 'grandma hair cut' she was going to get 4 years ago because she felt it was to much work. Now her hair is so cute. She straightens it too and finds the products even help with that.

I did it myself for my rehearsal dinner, just by following the Ouidad steps, which are outlined on her website.

I swear by the stuff.

I'm obsessed with Bumble and Bumble creme de coco shampoo/conditioner OR their Gentle Shampoo/Super Rich conditioner.

I'm a Ouidad fan as well...I did my own curls for the day of my wedding and just had them loosened up a bit.

I use all Ouidad products except shampoo and conditioner. They didn't try to sell me on anything but I did try the shampoo and conditioner and liked mine better.

I use Biolage hydrating shampoo and Biolage Detangling conditioner.

You can actually get the knock off versions at Harmon Drugs and they work just as great. Very moisturizing.

Ouidad Climate Control if my best friend. My curls always look great.

Maybe it's just my family then, it makes my hair really brittle and me and my dad both get way worse dandruff when we use it. So much of hair stuff is based on your own natural body chemicals, so I guess that makes makes sense. Haha.
