Ok while dh is away this week, I was thinking of dying my hair red while he is away and surprising him with it.
He has been asking me forever when im gonna go back to red, and i always say when i feel like it lol. He even said he wont mind if i leave it red all year round
my only issue is that i am pale now and darker hair makes me even more pale, but maybe ill tan after lol.
Here are pics with both blonde and red. Blonde i just picked first blonde pic i saw on my pictures folder so still had long hair. And yes it would be a bright red like this, dh LOVES it and says to do it the same color when i first dyed it and i like it too like this
Hummm I really like both looks, it's hard to say...I think summer and your blond hair and I love it and than I think the red is mysterious and sexy too! Ok I am no help!

i am def considering. Oh one important part i forget to mention is that the red believe it or not is more maintenance than the blonde. Red fades MUCH quicker than the blonde does so have to dye it more often. But ahhh i am getting bored with the blonde i guess, i feel i need to spice it up or something

yeah even before he left he hinted again at the red. Hes not the biggest blonde fan

I won't be much help because I'm torn. I think you look good with either shade, but I really like you with the blonde. The red looks good too though and if you want a change and he's been wanting you to do it, then go with that. I actually like the way you looked with the brown, like in that picture you posted when you were younger. Have you ever thought of doing something like that for a while?

lol yeah im weird but cant do brown. Its either blonde or red, i fee blah with brown. Not that ppl with brown are blah JUST ME lol, i see others who look amazing but eh on me i dont know. If i d brown it never lasts long bc i dye it another color right away. And even when i was younger,most my teenage years i had red. Only time it looked brown is in between when it faded or color didnt come out right bc i did it myself lol and had to wait to do red I was red from 14-19 then started with highlights around 19-20

i do like both. I would do red more often but a few years ago they took out this ingredient in red hair dye that kept the color in and bc of that fades within 2-3 weeks which is the only reason i hesitate to do it. I finally chopped off my hair and havent really dyed it much since wedding and finally hair is getting in better shape so im afraid to dye it alot again. But i am feeling blah about myself lately and MAYBE this will help a bit lol.
ETA: the only red dye that stays and stays a long time is red dye from europe, its strong though. I might just ask my aunt to send me some

I like the blonde better on you but the red works on you also. If DH likes it and you want to go for it I say do it.

can i say at first that they tried to convince me to do it differently. THey kept showing me this more subtle color but I insisted on the sample i saw in their book. I kept having to say i like the more funky red, and very vibrant. So just look through their book

i was just going to make a post about this!!!
i want to go BLONDE again - like really light blonde....my hair is short so i figure if i am going to do it i have to do it now - b/c its easier to grow out the damage when its short KWIM?
DH doesn't like blondes....he likes dark hair....i asked him and he said no keep it dark.....but then i brought it up again and he said of course i can make it blonde if that is what i want - but i know deep down he likes dark hair - but i am bored i want a change!
Denise you look great both ways.....i say go for the red for now.....your hair is short right? so it will be different than when it was long and red - so its kind of like getting a totally new style that you never had before - since its a different haircut than you had last time you were red....
