Registry

Did you guys get everything you wanted from your registries??? There was soo much I didn't get!!!
I'm gonna have to get things little by little....

Nope, we didn't get everything. But we went back and bought some things with GCs that we had received. And I figure somebody can get us what's left for Christmas or maybe our anniversary.

We got about 90% of stuff from our registry, but we had a big engagement party so got a lot there. Then I had to register for more for the shower. We were real lucky, but that's b/c my mother in law spends a fortune on her friend's kids so they all had to do the same for me. It was too much. LOL

I didn't , there were alot of things you would use everyday such as cooking utensils I didn't get.

We didn't. But BB&B sent us a 20% off coupon towards what we didn't get. Kinda everyday stuff. However, there were a few people who 'said' they were coming to my shower, and decided NOT to do so, and things were bought that I didn't get. Either they returned them, or were just plain stubborn. In any event.......we have enough dough to buy what we want on our own. Only because we didn't register for anything we couldn't afford ourselves. VERY smart on our part .

DH and I had most of our house already in order because most of our stuff was gifted to us when my dad moved away and in with his girlfriend.
We only put stuff we needed on our registry.
China, towels, formal stemware, SS pots and pans, vacuum cleaner, formal knives, and not much more. So we got most of what we wanted. We put formal sterling flatware, on our registry too, but after the wedding we returned the pieces we got and bought patio furniture and a grill...

We got just about everything from our registry. Only a few small items were left that we purchased. We were lucky that our families and friends were so generous.
