Repost from BHB: Hotels on East End, LI

Hi everyone...just wanted to post here since you guys are all done and may have the best input on this topic...
I'm in the process of blocking hotel rooms on eastern long island....the north fork. Our reception is at Raphael's and we're looking to get as close to there as possible. I've seen posts on the Hampton inn, but the closest one I saw was in Brookhaven, which is just not close enough for our guests. Does anyone have any recommendations on hotel/motels or b& b's?
I see that the Santorini beach comber is very close to there but I think that someone had negative feedback on it....I don't remember though for sure though...
