I'm in the final stages of the album - I gave them 100 photos - which is perfect!

Just a word of warning...I finally got my digi album from them today over a year and a half later. And this version was the second one they had to send me because the first one they had printed had HUGE errors...wrong color leather, misprinted pictures (picutres printed on top of each other!). And the version I got today is better, but not the exact layout I approved. Needless to say, I will probably just keep it since it could take another year to get it absolutely correct. So, just keep on them and triple check everything they send you. My experiences with them have gone from great to absolutely poor in terms of how they manage their business.

Oh' great I have had such great experiences also and I really do not want to be waiting almost 2 years for our wedding album. I guess I should get my pictures in real soon, otherwise it will be our 10 year Anniversary before we get ours!

I am in the same boat as Amy,
we both got married the same weekend in March, and have been going thru a long process !!!!
Not what I expected when I first booked with VIP, I was told a whole different story on TIME and the way the digital process would work.

Now I am just hoping to have my album by Christmas,
but I seriously doubt it!

Amy and myself have different style albums,
I have the same style as Doreen (DDUNNE23),
I have shared VIP experinences with both these girls over the past.
I thank them both for all there Help and support!!

I was told the process takes 3 MONTHS! I ask acouple of times!

I gave my proofs to VIP over a year ago,
Beginning of Sept 2003 !!!

I was aiming for a completed correct album before our first child was born. So much for that plan! I've got two weeks left.

I also have been fighting for over a year to get all of my enlargements which were also printed incorrectly. John needs to take a class on running and business or get himself a competent office/business manager.

Oh and J.Lo., if you haven't figured this one out yet about VIP, John's sense of timing and reality are way off. Three months in VIP's world is really 12 months in the world we all live in.

Sorry for the sarcasm, I am just beyond frustrated at this point.

John told me the same 3 months thingy
and also that I could work on my album with them, NOT - that didnt happen at all.



PS Doreen, wow I cant believe your baby is due in 2 weeks - Im sure the time flew by for you, best of luck!!

You are so right, at the rate the process is going, the baby may be where to but your money!!!

I would love to have my albums for christmas,
so I can finally give my parents theres.

I still am waiting for some enlargements too, since some came out bad,
but I need to wait until my negs come back from album company!!
its so crazy!

They ended up redesigning my whole album after my first layout.

What cover did you pick,
do you have a picture on your cover?

Did any of you get your TY pic on a card instead of the traditional TY pic from VIP?

As for the album.....I can see what you mean with 3 months meaning 12. I will be calling him 24/7 it sounds like. I am sorry to hear you are all still waiting. I know he said the larger digital album's program is limited in what you can do with the lay out and the pictures. I wanted the soho album from the beginning anyway. He told me they just came out with a new program for the soho album. I do not know it this will be better or worst.

I want to get the box but it is like another $200. Maybe for some holiday or b-day I will ask for it.

Oh' yeah...I had digital TY's made up. They came out nice but if I could do it over again, I would have not spent the extra $. They almost llok like I ran them off myself on my computer.
