Request for newlyweds please .. no looking Novbride

I was wondering if you could all tell me where your wedding shower was, about how many people you had, and what you thought about it?

If you have a pic of the room that would be great too!

I am helping to plan a bridal shower some time soon (purposely being vague hee hee)

My shower was at my cousin's house, which was gorgeous! I've always admired her house so that was fun. We had about 40 women - but they were all close friends and relatives. It was a tea party theme which was cute - a little different than your avg shower, and they had finger sandwiches, teas, desserts, it was cute.

Here's me about to open my presents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine was at Il Sapore in Roslyn. We had about 60 people. I had a great time and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. What was nice is they gave us the entire restaurant. I'll look for a picture.

I don't have pics of the place, I only have pics from the shower and you can't really get a good idea from it. Sorry.

to be honest, there's another pic with even more presents! I was overwhelmed by all the attention, but it was so nice - I was really nervous but just to know that everyone is there for you really makes you feel good That calmed my nerves!

mine was at Anna Maria's in kings park. The place was rented out just for the shower. I had about 35 women. Beautiful place and great food.

I had a great time at mine. Lots of love and happiness (even though both families had been experience some great grief and hard times in the week before the shower). It was at Carouselo in Howard Beach, Queens.

Mine was in my sister's back yard...there were about 70 people there!!

I had my sister's at La Grange! They used to do a wonderful shower (baby or bridal) but i heard their prices went sky high!!

BTW..you have FM!!

mine was at Mario's in Setauket. I had a bout 30 people. It was really nice Good Italian food

by the way.. we are trying to do a 'tea' type thing, so if you have any advice/suggestions, that woudl be great too!

I had mine in a local Italian restaurant near my parents called Venere. They had about 30-35 people there and I loved it! It was close to my parents' house so we had so many people come back there - I loved the whole day!
