Restaurant Help (For V-Day)

I have no idea where to go.. I dont want Italian since we have a party on Sunday at an Italian restaurant.

Im in Nassau (Westbury area) but will travel.

Help

(No seafood)

What about The Bonwit Inn in Commack? Or even the Milleridge in Jericho. I believe both take reservations, too!

We love the Grand Luxe cafe by Roosevelt Field.

I have always wanted to go there, and I have heard great things about that place.

There is this place right around the corner from me called The Davenport Press. We usually have our Administrative Assistants Day lunch there and it's pretty good.

There is also Ruth Chris's steak house on OCR.

the short ribs are soooo good and we always get the kobe beef hot dogs as an appetizer. Plus the molten chocolate cake is delicious!

laguna grille? It's on old country rd. I don't think it's very romantic but it's a nice atmosphere and the food is yummy

Mmmmm love Grand Luxe!!! It can get very crowded though, so I'd say go VERY early if you go here.

The Davenport Press is good, I've been there before. There's also Eleanor Rigby's in Mineola which is yummy!

most steak houses are expensive, usually close t $100 per person and with vday usually can be more pricey. I would call a bunch of places first to see if they even have availability and then narrow it down.

We are going to Rothmanns in East Norwich.

It's a great steakhouse.

You get a lot of good food for the price.

The food is MUCH better than Ruth Chris

when we go for dinner it usually costs us about $150 w/ tip. but we also order only one glass of wine, and two sides, no desert.

if you don't mind travelling to mineola, downtown bar & grill is really good. they have a small menu, but it's pretty diverse. any meal we've had there as been delicious, and i love their skirt steak. it's right on mineola blvd, it's small but very cozy.
