Restaurant Help in NYC

Can anyone please recommend a restaurant in Manhattan. I am looking in the Theatre District area. I am taking DH out for his Birthday and going to see a show. I been to many places in that area and I do not want to take him to the same restaurant. I want something a little bit romantic not as family oriented. I really don't have any clue. TIA

Bar Americain is fabulous, it's a Bobby Flay restaurant. DH and I just went to Quality Meats on 58th and 6th on Sat. night. Incredible. A little north of the theater district, but only a few blocks and then you're away from the tourist trap area at least for dinner, def. no families there. Victor's is great, it's cuban. Becco is also delicious, italian, it's Lidia Bastianich's family's restaurant.

Yes that seems to be a popular one. I also heard great things about this one through the grapevine.

Thanks!

I think Becco might be the choice then! If anyone has any other suggestions, let me know.
