Restaurant rec needed!

It's our one month anniversary tonight, so we want to go out for dinner to celebrate.

We'd like to find a place that has Italian and seafood (which is pretty much every Italian place I think?). We'd prefer to stay in Nassau County...doesn't really matter whereabouts though. Western Suffolk is OK.

I don't want to say 'money isn't an object' but it's ok if it's a little pricey...we can splurge tonight.

We'd like to go somewhere that's....not necessarily 'quiet' but no loud bands playing or anything like that. We also like places that pace the meals nicely so we aren't still shoving our appetizer down when the main course arrives lol Any suggestions?

Huntington is such a fantastic town! It might be fun to go early for a glass of wine somewhere or stay afterwards for a quick trip to a lounge or bar!

Is that Butera the same as the one in Woodbury?? If so, YUM!!! There is one on Southwoods Road and Jericho Trnpke (right across from the woodlands)!

The place my DH works at Vittorios.. they're great... Italian influenced.. steak and seafood...

and the owners just opened up Vero (small plates - Italian... ).. and I love it there.. been there twice since they opened and going back NYE..

Both are in amityville...

I love this place! The seafood is very fresh and their pasta dishes are delicious! Very nice atmosphere too.

yes, but i personally like the other one better (woodbury doesnt have a woodburning oven for some DELISH homemade pizzaaaa!!)

There is a brand new restaurant in commack called Andrea's 25. The original owners of Matteo's Sons and Cousin own it and the food is phenominal! I went there for my xmas party yesterday and loved it. Try the broccoli rabe and sausage eggrolls or the shrimp luciano. It's to die for. Happy Anniversary!!!
