restaurant recommendations

This weekend is our 1 year and my bday so we want to go to dinner on Sat night.

We want something really nice but we are open to different cuisines. Im not on any budget so recommend anything.

LI only because we have to make an appearance at a family BBQ at some point during the day.

its extremely romantic!!!!! and very differnt than your average dinner out!! i swear by that place for every occasion! LOL bdays, valentines day, and without a doubt we will prob go there for our anniversary!

i would ask for one of those booths that you can sit next to dh...like it wraps around

DH and I love Rothmanns Steakhouse in East Norwich. Ask for a booth - not a table. The booths are the big wrap around ones and are relatively private and I actually think they're romantic.

Prime in Huntington - love it! Especially if it's nice out, you can eat outside.

I think its overpriced for what it is. DH and I had a gift certificate for there and it was nice but it was overpriced. Tellers is the same owner and a little better, but if you want steak I would go to 21 Main, steak is just as good but its more reasonable. Unless you can eat outside, that might be the only reason its worth it.

Also Alexandros in Mount Sinai for Greek, The Pita House in East Setauket for Turkish, Bliss in East Setauket for New American, Piccola Bussola in Huntington for Italian.
