OH I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND! Tabitha & Dirt are older so they cooperate better than Mooshi. I just caught Mooshi waking up from a cat nap which is why she looks kinda funny. Although I DID manage to nab a pic of Mooshi with all her toys on her the other day. I was shocked she even let me put them on her. She stayed for lieke a minute! I downloaded the pic but couldn't upload it to my online albums because we were having internet problems. I will post it in a few days, it is super cute!

LOL Good! Because I can ask you a question. How do you keep them from playing with the tree? Our kitten is a nightmare. A true blue frickin nightmare. Zoe the 3 yr old cat is a good girl but Simon..he is Spawn> We're convinced lol.
He loves water so spraying him doesnt work. Air cans dont work either. He's afraid of the vaccum but i cant run it all day lol. I tried the aluminum foul under the tree skirt and on the window sill and it scared him for one day. Now he's back to jumping the tree and trying to play with the water.
I am AT MY WITS END!!!! His name should be Dennis...as in MENACE!

LOL! HOw funny. Well here is the thing. Tabitha & Dirt have lived with me in my apartment for the past 10 years. I lived alone and never put up a tree, just their stocking and a few decorations. I usually spent the holiday with Steve and we put up a tree at his place. BEFORE my apartment, when Tabitha & Dirt lived with my mom as we were growing up...my mom did put up a tree, but it was a charlie brown fake tree and honestly, we had to put it on a TABLE becaues they too, were all in it. There was no stopping them no matter what we did!
Steve always gets a real 7 foot tree. We just found Mooshi last year so she was at STeve's house. Last year was her first x-mas and yes, she was CONSTANTLY under the tree, hiding, playing, whatever! And there was no getting her out or stopping her. We just made sure that the tree was SECURE and the precious glass ornaments were high and SECURE too incase there was an accident.
I just moved into Steve's house with Tabby & Dirt on 11/17. The cats are still adjusting and the house is small and still a mess with me moving in and the wedding blowing over so unfortuatley I suggested we do not put up a tree because it is a TON of work, a HUGE mess and with the house a mess and the cats and all I thought it would be disaster. Tabitha & Dirt haven't seen a tree in YEARS and unfotunatly Dirt has recently gotten ill, and she is on medication and I thought the tree would be bad for her because I KNOW she will eat the pine needles because she is VERY attracted to smells and so....well SIGH....it was just not a good idea. At the same time I regret it because it is our first MARRIED xmas and I FINALLY have my girls with me on the holiday and I am terrified it may be Dirt's last xmas. Oh that was hard to write. OH brother!

So this totally got me thinking...I just sent this to STeve....
I am so torn, I want to put up a tree but I don’t. I am so torn. I fear that this may be Dirt’s last xmas and I am so grateful to have them with me this holiday, that I don’t want to take it for granted. At the same time, I fear that the tree will be a big problem because I KNOW Dirt will eat the pine needles and just gnaw at the tree. That will make her sick. What do you think?

Aww he's a good guy! Don't think about the worst-it will drive you nuts. And if it is Dirt's last xmas at least she gets to enjoy the tree.
I didnt lock Simon up this morning so Im fearing for mine. it is a real one. Every nigth I ahve to pick the sappy pine needles out of his fur. He smells liek an air freshener.
