Hey girls... one of the things I've been complaining about regarding my proofs was that there were pictures that weren't taken! I bought my negatives and what did I find... some of the pictures I wanted!
I didn't have a full length pic of me walking up the aisle - it was in the negatives... I didn't have a full length pic of me and DH.... it was in the negatives! Con you believe it?!
So ladies... if there is a shot that you didn't get in your proofs, get your negatives cause they might be there.

I'm so glad you have the pictures you thought were missing. I am wondering if there are more negatives than what I got, but don't know if I should ask because I got a lot anyway and nothing major is missing.

i just learned about the rejects also. The photographer will just pick the best pictures from the whole day. Some didnt' make the cut because of x, y and z reason but to us, they may be a great picture or something you didnt have before.
I would ask your photographer about any pictures that didnt come out well if they still had on file

Well, I own all the negatives and the disk, so fortunately, I now have everything... and I'm going to have a big portrait picture printed of the 2 of us!
I know, this is really annoying... I have been complaining about the pics I was missing and she had them the whole time!

No, I have resolved to the fact that 'you get what you paid for' and if it comes up in conversation when I see her or her mom (she's a friend of the family) then I will bring it up. It's just not worth it to me to start the conversation. I have the negatives and will get what I want printed and be happy

I know that this must be the case with me too. There are quite a few shots that I remember the photographer taking that are not in my proofs!! Annoying.

i am frustrated with this right now. I let them know that I felt there were alot of people missing from pictures and was told 'you will get all the proofs at the end!' repeatedly.
I want them for my album!!!
I have reconciled this fact by telling myself I will make another album once the prof. one is done and include those pics...

OMG! That is weird. I would have another talk with the photographer.
