Was wondering if anyone has an suggestions of a good all inclusive place to stay in Riveria Maya, Mexico.
The hubby and I have free airline tickets we need to use and decided to go to Riveria Maya over the summer...probbaly late july early august.
Anyone know of any nice but reasonably priced places to stay?
Thanks!

Re: RIVERIA MAYA
We stayed at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo and try the Iberostar Mayan. Both are beutiful and exquisite. We had no complaints what so ever. We are hoping to go back this year and stay at their new resort they just opened, Iberostar Grand.

Re: RIVERIA MAYA
We stayed at Aventura Spa Palace. AMAZING. 24 hr room service, huge room with jacuzzi tub overlooking the ocean... The service was great, food was excellent! It was about $3200 for me and FH (included airfare). We went in June 2007.
No matter where you stay, some excursions NOT to do: (off the top of my head):
Chichen Itza - SO far from resorts, it's an all-day trip for a two hour tour.
Xcaret - way, way, way overpriced for a tiny zoo.
Tip: If you do an excursion to the ruins (any), the tour guide will have the bus stop at a little marketplace - DON'T BUY ANYTHING THERE - the exact same goods are available at the ruins for a fraction of the price.

Re: RIVERIA MAYA
We did two resorts in Riviera Maya for our HM.
Palladium which was GREAT for the price..
And Excellence which was pretty disappointing. It was double the price of Palladium but we definitely didn't get double the service or quality.
Palladium is very reasonable.

DH and I are planning a trip there this summer and we are so confused as to where to stay, so this is definitely going in my notebook!

I am going in May!
It isn't an all inclusive but something well worth to check out.
