I actually called last nite and got a reservation!!

I hate to sound stupid but can he wear 'dress shorts' there. He has this stupid habit of not wanting to wear pants after January unless he absolutley has too

I eat at Pasta Pasta all the time. Casual dress....walking shorts and a polo shirt would be just fine.

If your net set yet,
La Bella Palermo in Babylon Village is really nice. The food is excellent and they have an Italian band that sings while your eating. Its great!

Ohhhhhhhhhh
go to La Casa Cafe, it is on the beach in centerport, very nice inside (romantic atmosphere), and food is FABULOUS!

EDITED TO SAY: Just as a little warning, there is a carnival at the POrt Jeff fire house, which always causes alittle extra traffic on the way down to Port Jeff, so you may want to give yourself a few extra minutes.
