Steve and I will be child free Saturday night and need a suggestion in Suffolk County for a nice romatic Italian restaurant

Pasta, Pasta in Port Jefferson Village is amazing (require reservations). I would also recommend Casa Rustica in Smithtown.

I also agree on Pasta Pasta in Prt Jeff. The food is GREAT, and it is very cozy

I was going to say Sempre Vivolo. I love it there. We go every year for my birthday. If we werent going away for our anniversary, that is where we would be going.

Cindy.... I was so looking forward to having dinner there with my husband but because there was some sort of LIRR problem that night...we didnt end up getting home until 11pm!!! I made 9pm dinner reservations so that in case one of us had to work late...we wouldnt miss out dinner!!
Maybe we will go when we are on vacation at the end of the month!!

I posted this on the NWR board, but I think it's worth repeating:

Mario's in Hauppauge on Motor Parkway,....literally down the road from Siempre Vi (forgot the rest of the name).

I've been to both many times, but Mario's is by far my favorite!

If you willing to go to Port Jeff and are open to something other than Italian, I highly suggest the Elk Street Grill (right next to Starbucks). The service is fabulous, the food is outstanding and they have a piano player on the weekends.

As a rule, reservations are key for any PJ restaurant on the weekend.

Glittergal - We stumbled on that restaurant a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. THey had a piano player, very nice!

Pasta Cucina in Farmingdale is really nice and romantic inside and has great food (and they are flexible with the menu)
