Romantic or cheesy?

I am trying to find the perfect spot for our anniversary/vow renewal..whatever u want to call it....party next year and came to the conclusion I want something different from what the halls provide. The penthouse idea is nice (Alger house), having a party in a private room or hall is nice too but I had a brainstorm. There are some really nice luxuary yachts that can be rented with a 2 man crew and personal chef..wouldnt that be romatic to have just the 2 of us and 5 other couples just sailing as the sunsets. Its not exactly a party but it seems so romantic....to me...or you can have just the 2 of us.

Re: Romantic or cheesy?

not cheesy, but I thought that there were going to be a lot of people invited to your anniversary celebration. What happened?

Re: Romantic or cheesy?

We went on a boat ride Sat night and it seemed like everyone had fun. Originally I wanted our wedding on a boat but nixed the idea..too many horror stories from people who did..anyways I saw some of the fleet and there was one boat that held 12 people..its a luxury yacht and the inside is amazing.... private bedrooms, 2 floors with covered deck... You can cruise and watch the sunset. It seemed like it would be less stress and much more romantic. It would still be an elegant dinner but just couples. There is also the option of abigger boat too but the intimacy of a smaller more upscale party seems sooooooo appealing.

Re: Romantic or cheesy?

It does seem REALLY nice...

but, if you limit it to 'couples only' would any one be excluded? Do you know any singles who would want to come celebrate with you?
