so now that I am a haggard old wife & mom, I don't go out as much as I used to. I go to bed at 9:30, even on weekends. I barely drink so I'm a lightweight.
Well, some friends are in town so I went out last night. Hardcore. I was an effing rockstar again. Literally. I was on stage with a band singing and I even drank hard liquor (I usually only do wine)
I woke up and I was still tipsy. Now I find myself gagging and I am dreading the afternoon hangover. Just drank some Alka Seltzer & praying this day flies by.
I am WAY too old for this sh!t What was i THINKING!

You need the hair of the dog that bit you. Liquid lunch McDonalds is a good cure too.

true. I need a 'miracle burger.' That's what my BF & I used to call McD's cheeseburgers. Miracle Burgers. Because they ALWAYS do the trick.
I NEED to bounce back because tonight DH & I are going to the Patriots Pre-Season opening game and sitting in my company's luxury box!!! I do not want to be hungover & cranky for that.

Re: rut roh
Like everyone said, Gatorade and Greasy Food.
Drink lots of water and take two tylenol. I usually do this before I go to bed after a night of drinking, but it helps the day after also.
Feel better.

I wish I could but I just took a week's sick leave last week with that damn coxsackie infection.
I think I am going to bail on tonight's football game. Maybe I'll let DH bring his brother
