RVC Bride...

Hey! You had mentioned once that your DH works on the floor of the NYSE...so does mine, as a specialist trader! I had to ask you about it because it's such a random job and I thought it was ironic that someone else's DH did it, too! What firm is he at? Maybe they know one another?! LOL!

Cool! Quite an old boys' club down there....however...DH's assistant clerk is a woman, and she does a damn good job! (There's like...3 girls in his firm! Very few women overall on the floor)

VERY few....

my DH was a clerk. He left to be on the FDNY, but he loved it there. I went down there once when we were first dating and it was quite an experience.

I went recently when DH was made specialist...he signed 'the book' and it was really neat. Heavy security, which is good...since I always worry with him there. On 9/11 the place went on lockdown and you couldn't leave...we both worked in the city and it was hard to get in touch with him. Anyway....it's an interesting place, for sure.

FDNY...what a good man! I couldn't imagine.....that's some courage!
