sad story.....

so about a week ago one of my sorority sisters Mom was found unconcious on their kitchen floor, lips blue and everything. She has asthma so they believe she had a bad attack and couldn't get to her inhaler in time...she was rushed to the hospital....they weren't sure how long she had been without oxygen.They tried to do tests on her but everytime they did she'd have a seizure, so they put her into an induced coma....and still that did not help, she continued having seizures. The doctors told her yesterday afternoon that she had 0% change & that she was brain dead.

I can't stop thinking about this and couldn't IMAGINE what she is going through. Could not even imagine.....

Even worse...her Dad has already passed away and her brother is serving in the military over in Iraq.

My heart just breaks for her.......

Makes you thankful for everyday you have with someone. Makes you realize how important every single moment in your life is...even if it's just giving your Mom a hug.

OMG! That is horrible...some people just get so much crap at once...many hugs & prayers for your friend!!!

omg, I'm so sorry for your friend. I hope her mom pulls through and she will be in my prayers, along with her brother serving overseas.

Poor girl, seems like her family has been through so much, I can't even imagine..

I am so sorry to hear this, I will keep your friends and her family in my prayers

that is the saddest story -- will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

with stories like that it has to make all of us thankful for what we have and for the health and safety of our family and friends
