Sandals Resorts??

Sandals Resorts??

I've never been to any sandals resorts before, and was just wondering how they were? Which one would you suggest? We were possibly thinking the one in the Bahamas or the one in Antigua? We want to go away this summer for our 1 year.

we were going to go to th eone in Antigua, but our travel agent said that is was amore quite resort.
We went to St. Lucia Golf & Spa and LOVED it. There were tons of things to do, and we were NEVER bored

we've been to Montego bay in Jamiaca, it's an older resort-but its big & clean & the peope there are SOOO nice!

We went to Dunn's River in Jamaica and it was awesome!! It is also a golf resort and spa

I have been to both resorts. Antigua was not very good. I have posted about this several times. So many couples we met there, along with us complained and we ended up with a comp trip. We took that trip to Bahamas which was much better. I am not one for all inclusive, as I dont feel the food is great, but I would recommend Bahamas over Antigua anyday. The problems we had at Antigua was two night clubs they had were never open, most restaurants closed, no bartender at piano bar which my DH and several others pitched in to do...lol, sorry, but roaches in three seperate rooms we changed and I mean EVERYWHERE, etc. We complained to management and they said they were having problems and gave us and several other couples a free trip in the future. Also they always had armed guards at the property line which was right by the beach and bar, main area which was horrible to look at.

Wow! We went to Sandals St. Lucia...Golf Resort and Spa and we loved it. I thought the food was awesome. Obviously, not the buffet stuff, but the restaurants were great. We went to the other two Sandals and had dinner at each and loved them also. We were planning on doing a Sandals next year and now you have me worried.

I went to Montego Bay in 1998 and had an awesome time. Lots of activities and great food.

We are actually trying to plan a return trip to the grande! It is so lovely!
