Ok so far Marcella has recommended Serendipity, someone said it's small. I looked at their prices and they are affordable. I was thinking we should do desserts and drinks instead of dinner, since most people did not even eat all that they ordered at the last GTG. If anyone has any suggestion of dates and place, please place them here. We would prefer a Friday

The 19th is fine with me. PG Kind sounds a good idea because it's near the subway and Penn Station.

I'd say until like 9:30/10:00. I'm not to crazy about taking the subway at midnight...

bedda, I will hold your hand whatever can happen to you at 12 midday, can happen to you at 12 midnight. I am just saying this to say this is how I feel. I understand those who are not as open as I am about the subway. I know none of us will be there until midnight tho' except Sassy

I don't want to sound like a chicken but i'm just not crazy about taking a subway by myself at midnight. if i were with a group of people then that's another story but ever since my dad got robbed at a train station at a late hour of the night it has always made me afraid of coming home alone late on the trains.

Bedda: No one is going to force you to stay til midnight. Whenever you want to leave, you can go. I think we met up pretty early - like 6 or something. So if you have to leave at 9, you will have a good 3 hours to mingle.

I dont like to take the subway that late either so I usually take a cab home.
