Re: Shocking wedding moments:
ChristineC86- that sounds familiar. MY SIL barely said 2 words to me the whole night!
I thought it was pretty funny but at my brother's wedding, his friend's date (not even a g-friend or anything just a date) did not show but he asked for her entire dinner including piece of wedding cake to be wrapped so he would have dinner for himself the next night..we were all cracking up when he left with his doggy bag. I expect that from a grandma but not a 27 year old guy!

Re: Shocking wedding moments:
...My 18 year old cousin who I did not invite with a guest...who then had my aunt (his mom) call me and give me a guilt trip that he already invited his 16 year old girlfriend and he didn't want to break her heart etc. etc.
Turns out he couldn't decided which of his girls to bring and ended up coming solo leaving me with an empty seat!!! And convinced my three of my other cousins (who was also coming with a guest) to come solo. So as a result I had four empty seats!!!

Oh and someone stole my matron of honor's bouquet. We didn't notice until the end of the night when she wanted to take it home...it was missing!

Re: Shocking wedding moments:
Wow I can't believe some people.
We had this little old lady who kept walking back and forth on the docks while we were trying to take some pictures. She was walking so SLOW and we were trying to catch the sunset. THEN, she went over and helped herself to our coctail hour food. She was too cute though, we didn't mind.

Re: Shocking wedding moments:
irenie-stealing-that reminds me...someone stole my mom's placecard. I gave out mini-pumpkins as place cards. At the end of the night she had it by her purse on the table and she was saying good-ye to people. A few minutes later it was gone. Who steals the MOB's pumpkin with her name on it?
Another one I forgot..I think someone had sex in the handicap bathroom and if you knew the person you would be surprised too! She was caught by MIL. She is a very conservative stuffy relative of DH. We all laugh and joke about it!

Re: Shocking wedding moments:
I was just telling Natasha that I need new inlaws, we did not get any gifts or any congratulations at all so I guess I join the merry band of loved sisters. Hey I am married and I am darn happy so they can just take their negative attitudes elsewhere. I think the thing that bothers them the most is that I was not working overtime to make them love me. I think a relationship is a 2 way street and we both have to make an effort.
