We had one guy eat his meal and order and eat 2 others who didn't show & he didn't even give us a card!

Re: Shocking wedding moments:
Novbride if they gave themself a little chance to get to know me, they would see. I guess they came with their minds already made up, they did not want their baby brother to be taken...who knows. They RSVP'd for my shower to my MOH and they all did not attend. Then they call me the following week to ask me to attend a comedy show with them, mind you they are on their way from a shower that they took the train to attend all the way out in Queens. I forgive but I don't forget. The ball is in their court, I have done all that I will do to make it work.

If they don't make an effort, it will be their loss. You seem so nice, always with a big smile and always making everyone smile or laugh.

Shamma - they sound like special people, NOT. Don't ever feel bad, you are a great person and I would be thrilled to death to have you as a member of my family. Tough nuggets on them!

Re: Shocking wedding moments:
I think I've posted this before, but i need to say this again...
When DH and I were watching the raw footage from our video, we noticed that during our ****tail hour my MIL had the master guest list in her hand and was changing around my seating arrangements !!!!!

Re: Shocking wedding moments:
Mine shocking moment was this girl who was a date of a friend's- drank excessively, then puked on the tablecloth...then-had to be taken to the hospital. She had a blood alcohol level of .3--which is 3 times the legal limit. I'm glad everything ended up ok though-that could have been a very bad legal situation if something had happened to her. And-thank goodness for the best man-he apparently 'discreetly' handled the throwing up situation. Rather shocking!

Re: Shocking wedding moments:
How did your MIL get the masterlist??? the hall was responsible for this, and once my place cards were made they could not be changed....she had some nerve.
THanks Novbride and SHamee for such kind words. I guess its called given a chance or try it, you just might like it.

Re: Shocking wedding moments:
My husband cousin's mother was walking out with the centerpiece that was designated fo rmy mother. I went up to her and said thank you and took it from her. What nerve Especially when she, her mother, her daughter (who is a doctor), and the daughter's fiancee and daughter attended my wedding and didn't bring a card or gift. That is 5 people and nothing.

Re: Shocking wedding moments:
We had 3 drunk crashers join our wedding for some late night dancing. All of a sudden there they were on the dance floor. Someone from the staff got rid of them but they are in my video.

Re: Shocking wedding moments:
One of my 'work friends' wore a revealing dress, and proceded to rub up against EVERY male member of the bridal party (who were TOTALstrangers to her) and ask 'Can you see my aeriolas through this dress?' SHE WAS NOT DRUNK! Fortunately, no one was offended or injured.

Re: Shocking wedding moments:
SHE DID NOT!!!!!! OH MY GOD!! I just don't get people!! Well, during our receiving line at the end of the reception (ya know, getting 'a boost' aka the envelopes), after these 2 people kissed us and congratulated us, I turned around to Joe and said 'who were they' and he said 'I have no idea'!!! They even made off w/a favor!!!!

Re: Shocking wedding moments:
My SIL was a pain in my ass the whole wedding. First she threw a fit b/c her youngest wasn't invited (we said no kids) and wrote him in on the response card... then she and her daughter didn't call to RSVP or show up to my shower, she never mentioned it either until my FIL said something to her about it and she made an offhand comment about moving (they moved 2 MONTHS later?!)... and when we were lined up at the church in the receiving line she proceeded to stand behind us and blow bubbles mockingly at our backs and heads! mind you it was raining out so we were cramped into the vestuble! To top it all off one of her kids just didn't show up to the wedding... she told my husband that 'she couldn't afford to come'. Well I can't AFFORD to pay for people who RSVP and decide last min they can't come! PS in a WTF category she wore long dangling earings with upside down black hearts?! WTF?

My brother's HO of a date who 2 things to pi$$ me off:
1. She was late getting ready, they hit traffic and as a result my nanny missed the ceremony, mind you this lady was more like my mom
2. She was so drunk and coked up she shamelessly flirted with EVERY guy at the wedding and even flashed a few.

Re: Shocking wedding moments:
Michelle: Please tell me your brother is still not with her? My brother's wife kept rubbing her chest against my other brother's all night long! It was disgusting. But then again, she's a little 'off' to begin with. She think she runs a close second to Brittney Spears. All night long you kept hearing her say 'Can you believe all the men are looking at me? Wow, I must look incredibly HOT tonight!'. Who was checking her out?!? Considering the guest list comprised of mostly elderly men and a handful of DH's/my male friends, I don't think I would be flattered to know that 68 year old Uncle Enrie was checking out my cleavage! EWWWHH!
jennrenee...my sister and BIL had a guest like that...and my mom and I refer to her as the one in the hoochie top...
nothing contraversial...but my FG's dad was our best man...so she stood by him during the ceremony...when the BM gave DH my ring (of course the more expernsive of the 2)...our FG grabbed it and it fell onto the floor of the gazebo...I remember it in slow motion and thinking that I was wearing my moms e-ring (something borrowed) and I could use that...
