DH and I got home from our HM on 12/8 and moved into our house on 12/14. Needless to say, I didn't send out Christmas cards this year. No one really has our new address yet.
I'm getting ready to do our thank you cards and my mom suggested putting in 'new address' cards with the thank you's.
Is this silly? Would you do it? I'm sure I can find cheap ones at vista print, but don't know if it's stupid.

The back of our TY cards say 'Our new home:' with the address... I hope it isn't too tacky!!!!
I think it's a great idea! If you print the new address info on separate cards, you can choose who to send it to or not, too, which could be a nice touch for you.

I think its a good idea, I wish I had done it. People throw out the envelopes and I got a lot of people asking me for my address after I sent my Thank Yous, would have saved me a lot of e-mails.

I would do it, because most people aren't swift enough to look at the return address on the envelope and update their records on their own.

I could have sent our new address with the ty's... but personally, maybe im weird, but i didnt think everyone needed to have our address... our address was spread enough through the family around xmas time and we got way more xmas cards than i had wanted

I sent separate moving announcements before I did my TYs and I still didn't get xmas cards from some people.
ETA: some people like my cousins who said 'we didn't have your new address...' YES YOU DID!

We did this on our cards as well. Well, the first set of cards that didn't make it out.
