DH's cousin's wife wasn't able to attend my shower. In the wedding card there was a GC for BBB saying sorry I wasn't able to attend your shower and a check. Do I send a seperate thank you for the shower gift? Should I send it now? Thanks!

For those people that could not come to my shower but gave me wedding gifts and shower presents, I sent them a thank you for the wedding gift and added a PS about the shower present. Then again, the shower gifts were given to me after my wedding had already occured, and they had already gave me the wedding present at our wedding. I just sent my wedding thank you notes out now. (about 7 weeks after we got married).
The shower thank you notes went out in May jsut after I had my shower.

If you're using a thank you note that has your pictures on it and it takes a few months to get them, then maybe I'd send a note now about the shower gift. Otherwise, since the gifts came together, I'd send 1 note acknowledging both.
